The Suffolk Master Gardener Association (SMGA) is a federally recognized 501(C)3 non-profit organization; donations are tax deductible. Tax identification number is 54-1661496. Your donation will help educate the City of Suffolk residents using guidelines from Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE). The Extension Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who will:
- Provide educational opportunities in the Suffolk Public Schools, including the Ready, Set, Grow! program
- Offer educational displays and presentations in public forums such as Farmer’s Markets, Touch a Truck, etc.
- Present educational information via the web site, Facebook, and Social Media platforms
- Install, maintain, display pollinator gardens and children’s learning gardens for the enjoyment and education for the City of Suffolk residents.
